A few months ago, I discovered an amazing program at Chelsea Piers for my son who is 6 years old. It is called Rock-N-Rolls and consists of 45 minutes of rock climbing and 45 minutes of gymnastics. Ice-skating at The Standard is another one of my favorite winter activities. My kids love skating downtown in a different atmosphere then the Upper Eastside. After they try twirling a bunch of times and end up falling, we heard over to The Grill where we all order hot chocolate and fondue.
